GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF WORK-Students may submit a maximum of 3 pieces of work -Matted pieces of work must be received on or before February 28, 20001 at: Santa Rosa High School c/o Tanya Braunstein 1235 Mendocino Avenue Santa Rosa, CA 95401 -A $10.00 entry fee must be submitted at this time. Make checks out to SRHS. -Name, Title, School and Category must clearly be written on the back of the matted print. -Black and White Categories are as follows: Portrait, Landscape, Still life, Special Effect, Every Day Life, Abstract and Miscellaneous There will be an open category for color prints -Applications must be completed and sent in with your print. -Teachers will be notified if you are accepted into the show. -All work that is accepted must be framed and ready to hang at the show. -Entry forms must accompany your work. -Do not sign the front of your work, as all judging will be anonymous. |
LETTER TO POTENTIAL SPONSORS:The Santa Rosa Photography Club in conjunction with Sonoma Valley High School's photo program is sponsoring a photo exhibition and contest devoted entirely to Sonoma County high school students. Entitled Zone2, we expect several hundred entries from all over the county. Students will compete for scholarships and prizes in eight different categories juried by local artists and professionals in the field of photography.Our first show gave over $1000.00 to contestants; the goal for this year's show is to give twice as much. In order to make this as successful as possible. we would greatly appreciate your tax-deductible donation. Donations of over $300.00 will be included as sponsors and recognized at the show.
